This is North Devon -- A CRIMINAL investigation has been launched after dozens of people were evacuated from Barnstaple's Wilkinson store following a fire. Police received a call at just after 4pm from a member of the store's staff who reported that a number of items had been set light to. The fire caused minimal damage after being extinguished by a quick-thinking member of staff. Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the store, and are looking to speak to anyone with any information relating to the incident. More information to follow.
