Police hunting Plymouth road rage driver who tailed his victim This is Plymouth -- DID you witness two road rage incidents at two locations in Plymouth, involving the same vehicles and drivers? Police want to hear from other motorists and passers-by who may have seen the incident at 9.15am on January 21 at the mini roundabout leading to Vauxhall Street and Bretonside. A small black hatchback car stopped near a red Transit van at the roundabout and police believe the car driver got out and became verbally abusive to the van driver, kicked the van repeatedly. He then threw something at the van before making off in the direction of the Barbican. After the first incident, the van driver went into the city centre before parking at the car wash on Billacombe Road, Plymstock at 9.30am. The driver of the black car appeared again, this time with another man. He threatened the van driver with a metal weapon and then attacked the rear of the van causing extensive damage. Both men made off on foot and headed towards Chelson Meadow. The car driver was described as a white, 5ft 8ins, slim build, mid 30s with short, spiky hair and a local accent. He was wearing a dark hooded body warmer and blue jeans. A police spokesperson said: "We believe there were several people who may have witnessed the incident at the mini roundabout as traffic was heavy at the time. "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the black car and the two men that morning." Anyone with information should call police on 101 or all Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference number EK/14/53. Reported by This is 7 hours ago.
