This is Plymouth -- DETECTIVES want to identify this man after an incident outside a Barbican pub saw a man needing 35 stitches to his head and face. The 27-year-old victim was outside the Crown and Anchor public house in the Barbican at just after midnight on Sunday, December 15 when he was assaulted . His attacker hit out at him with a broken bottle, leaving him with lacerations to his head and face, Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area of The Crown and Anchor public house on the night of Saturday December 14 into the early moments of Sunday December 15. It is hoped the man shown in these pictures taken both inside and outside the pub, can assist police with their ongoing inquiry. He was of large build, wore a long sleeve shirt, and had short dark hair and a goatee beard. Investigators believe he may have key information about the incident.
