Police are warning businesses to take care after a 'ring the change' scam at a Salisbury bank. At around 12pm on Wednesday 12th February, a man entered the Royal Bank of Scotland branch along Minster Street and asked for £700 in £10 notes to be changed into £20 notes. He then tried to confuse the cashier by asking for the cash to be changed into Euros. The man attempted to deceive the cashier by retaining some of the money in order to gain more Euros than he was entitled...
