POLICE are investigating the theft of 17 Easter eggs from the boot of a car.Officers were called to Dewar Close, in Ifield, at 6.30am on Saturday to a report a car had been broken into. Between 10pm last Friday and 5.30am on Saturday a blue Vauxhall Astra belonging to a 27-year-old woman had been opened and searched.The Easter eggs were stolen from the boot of the car, although an 18th was left behind. They were due to be used as part of a treasure hunt for children.
