This is Leicestershire -- A man suffered a fractured eye socket and cheekbone when he was attacked while trying to break up an argument. Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to question about the attack, which happened in Market Street, Leicester city centre. The 19-year-old victim left a bar at 4.40am on Sunday, June 16 when he tried to intervene in an argument which one of his friends was having with a group of men. Without warning he was punched in the side of his face. He was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where he underwent an operation for a fractured eye socket and cheek. Pc Imran Isat said: "We are releasing an image of a man who may have information that could assist us with our inquiries. "Please take a moment to look at the image and if you recognise him or know who this man is then contact us. "This was a particularly nasty assault on a young man who was enjoying a night out with friends and has since had to undergo painful surgery."
