A motorist was cut free from their car after it crashed near Oadby town centre today. Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene of the crash in London Road, near the town centre shortly after 1pm today. The car ended up on its side near a mini-roundabout and blocking the entrance to a footpath. Police said the motorist was not seriously injured and did not require hospital treatment. The road was closed until shortly before 3pm to allow police to examine the scene.
