A SHOPKEEPER was assaulted with a glass bottle as robbers stormed a newsagents in Darlaston. The attackers entered WS10 Wines & Beers in Darlaston Road yesterday (Monday) before carrying out the raid, where they made off with cash from the till. The 29-year-old shopkeeper suffered facial injuries and required hospital treatment. Police say he has since been discharged from hospital.
