A warning has been issued by police after thieves stole a handbag containing potentially dangerous medication. The handbag, which contained a quantity of tablets, was stolen from Gallowtree Gate, in Leicester city centre, at about 1.45pm today. Police warned the tablets could prove dangerous if taken in excessive amounts. A spokeswoman said: "The bag contained medication including Amitriptyline, Diazepam and Zopiclone.
