POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was allegedly attacked outside a city bar. The 30-year-old was near the bus stop outside the Union Rooms in Union Street at around 1am on June 18. He told police he was attacked by a man described as white, aged between 28 and 30 years, wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts. The 30-year-old claimed he was punched in the face and was knocked to the ground. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Derriford Hospital where he underwent surgery...
