Police were in a five-hour stand-off with a man wanted for disobeying his parole conditions. The 24-year-old hid in a property in Paradise Place in Stoke, Plymouth, when police knocked for him at 11.50pm on Thursday evening. He was said to have "failed to have complied with the conditions of his parole licence". He was originally sentenced for robbery.
