Vehicle hits wall, flips on roof, at Whitstone Hill, Shepton... FIREFIGHTERS and police were called after a vehicle flipped onto its roof in the early hours. The fire log does not say if it is a car or something else, but apparently a vehicle hit a wall on Whitstone Hill at 3.25am. No one was trapped when firefighters from Shepton Mallet and Yeovil fire stations arrived, and the police closed the road to recover the vehicle. Reported by Shepton Mallet Journal 20 minutes ago.

Firefighters were called to the incident in Park Road, Chesterfield at 9.30pm. AN air ambulance was called out to rescue a lorry driver after a crash closed a major road.Drivers were told to avoid the A42 southbound between junction 13 for Ashby and junction 12 for Measham due to the major accident in Willesley.Leicestershire Police were called to the scene at 6.40am yesterday morning.One driver was trapped by their injuries and was flown by Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance to Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham.The lane was closed for more than 10 hours.
